A message dated July 29, 2009, was received stating Governor Parnell                                                            
is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled copies of the following                                                              
resolution to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing:                                                            
                                                                                                                                
      CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 18(RES)                                                                                 
      Urging the United States Congress to refrain from passing                                                                 
      legislation that designates land in Area 1002 of the Arctic
